Tax day macros and calories
Had a Coke Zero-freebie! Drank a 32 ounce Powerade Zero with about 8 packets of True Lemon - also a freebie! Drank a 20 ounce coffee with two little cups of half and half. Drank a bit less than a quart of unsweetened vanilla flavored coconut milk beverage. Also managed to drink some actual water.
Food was a 1.5 ounce pack of pork rinds, a 5 ounce summer sausage, and 7 ounces of Walmart pastrami.
Now for the calories and macros: Estimated calories were around 1100. Got around 90 grams of protein, so I met that goal, even if 24 of those were low-grade pork rind protein. 13 carb grams is 52 calories. So, 688 calories from fat, or 76 grams. I don't know how sustainable 1100 calories a day is. I'm not feeling hungry today because I made a huge pig of myself at a casino buffer yesterday. But it would be all kinds of awesome if I could keep this up. There is still lots of room to cut carbs with better protein sources.

Late brunch
Had a bag of frozen Brussels sprouts that you steam up in the microwave. They're already seasoned and everything. Had a packet of shrimp flavored Ramen noodles as well. Way more carbs than I should be eating, but only about 750 calories. Some protein and greens for supper is the plan.

New year, new blogging
Long time, no see. Doing a bit of intermittent fasting today. Didn't eat for about 24 hours, then had a big meal about 4 pm today. It consisted of a can of mustard greens (with apple cider vinegar, of course), a 7 ounce jar of olives, a 5 ounce can of yellowtail tuna in olive oil, and chia/hemp seed gruel. Total calories today: 1040. Protein was about 42 grams, net carbs were about 6. In the future, I'd like to shoot for around 1200-1500 calories per day, but I ate like a pig yesterday. Had some cravings for junk today, but managed not to give in. Here's hoping I can do the same tomorrow.

Birthday supper
Had a mid size (five ounce) roast beef sandwich from Arby's, garnished with a couple packets each of mayonnaise and Horsey sauce. A 3.5 ounce bag of pork rinds and 40 ounces of water. Call it 1300 calories and 40 carb grams. Definitely hit my daily protein goal. Probably going to have some kind of greens with vinegar in a couple hours to keep from feeling hungry in the middle of the night.
Lunch
Five ounces of canned chicken, a three ounce pouch of salmon (gotta love the Dollar Tree) , and a four ounce can of mushrooms. A little bit less than 400 calories, six carb grams, and 41 grams of protein.
39th birthday
Had a 400 or so calorie breakfast. Two 1.5 ounce Old Wisconsin beef sticks, 2 20 ounce cups of coffee with half and half. Currently sipping on an iced Powerade Zero with a couple packets of True Lemon. Call it 5 or 6 carb grams and 15 grams of protein. Probably going to get a BLT salad from Subway at the end of the shift because it's our birthday, precious.
Weighed in at 287.1 after a decent sized poop this morning. I'd really like to be somewhere south of 270 by the end of April.

Did well today
Ate pepperoni, canned mushrooms, sauerkraut, salmon, almonds, and coffee with half and half.Went five hours without having to pee, which was awesome. Stayed under 1500 calories and 20 carb grams.
One day of keto down, now for another.

Really wanted something to eat
Could have gotten pizza or a sub, got five eggs and a 2 ounce stick of medium cheddar instead. Go me.

Breakfast was four boiled eggs with light salt (light as in half potassium chloride) and two 20oz cups of coffee with a tablespoon or so of half and half. Lunch was a 2.5 ounce bag of pork rinds with 3 ounces of almonds. Supper was 3 ounces of salami, 4 ounces of mackerel in sunflower oil (drained), a 14 ounce can of turnip greens with apple cider vinegar, and a 14.5 ounce can of sauerkraut.
My poor teeth.

Elevenses
Ate a truck stop veggie cup-celery, broccoli, carrot sticks, grape tomatoes-raw, because that is the way I roll. Also had a Fuji apple from Trader Joe's. It was kind of mushy and bland and not very satisfying. What the hell, TJ's?
Livin' on the edge
Breakfast was four tablespoons of chia seeds (Bob's Red Mill) and four tablespoons of hemp seeds (shelled, Bob's Red Mill also) with a little water added to make a sort of cereal. Didn't taste bad, sort of like plain oatmeal. Also had five boiled eggs because I am a disgusting pig. Seasoned the eggs with a sauce made from one packet each of mayo, mustard, and hot sauce (KFC). Had my usual pint of coffee with half and half as well.
No matter how well you try to chew them up, there will be little chia seed husks in your poop.
Feeling like I'm just on the edge of buzzed. I really hope it's low blood sugar and not the hemp.
I also really hope that I don't get busted at a border patrol stop for carrying seeds I bought at Whole Foods.

Ugh.
Lunch was a can of sauerkraut (8 ounces), a can of chicken with a packet of mayo and a packet of mustard (5 ounces)- or as I like to call it, chicken salad for one, and then about a cup and a half or so of almonds. Something really didn't agree with me and I've had stomach cramps ever since.
Stopped at a McDonald's and got a McDouble and an unsweetened tea later. Couldn't finish the sandwich, so I guess that's good. Still in a fair amount of discomfort, though.
Woke up hungry
So I had some Hormel Hot Beef With Gravy®(7.5 ounces) and a three ounce packet of salami that I just noticed also came from Hormel. Then a smallish Granny Smith, because that was too much Hormel.

Breakfast in Russelville, AR
5 boiled eggs, a Granny Smith apple (smallish), 3 ounces of salami, and a 24 ounce cup of coffee with an ounce or so of half and half plus a packet of Irish Creme flavor.
I've been urinating less, which means my blood sugar should be coming down.
Midnight nosh
Had a 3 ounce pack of dried apricots and a 3 ounce pack of pepperoni slices after midnight. I didn't turn into a gremlin, but I'm pretty sure the apricots contributed to the massive dump I took the next day.

Big fat supper
Supper was a can of mustard greens with apple cider vinegar, a handful of macadamia nuts with salt, a handful of unsalted almonds, and a bunch of pumpkin seeds. Call it a cup or so.
Did some leg lifts while lying on my back. I can hold my legs up at a 33° or so angle for about fifteen seconds. Need to work on that.
